About Us

Carr Systems is a software consulting and development company headquarted in Fairfax, Virginia. We combine business and technology skills to tackle complex problems and deliver state of the art solutions. Our goal with every engagement is to leave a customer with a solution that is easy to use, inexpensive to maintain, and totally under their control.

Our engagements range from consultative, such as BPA, data mapping, information assurance, and systems analysis, to a wide range of application development projects. Solutions that we have developed include asset management, business intelligence systems, data warehouses, eCommerce systems, iPhone apps, intranets and portals, rapid prototypes, SaaS platforms, and a wide variety of websites. Our engineers work with all major programming languages, including Microsoft and Open Source technologies.

Our industry experience includes the federal government, healthcare, information technology, Internet media, nonprofits, political advocacy, and retail.

Gary founded Carr Systems in 2008 with over 20 years of business, technology, and consulting experience. Here's why he started Carr. Brandon Fix, VP of Operations
Brandon co-founded Carr Systems with Gary in early 2008. Having worked with Gary on a number of projects and companies in the past, teaming with Gary was, as Brandon describes it, "a no-brainer". "We have a great team at Carr. Jason Fisher, Chief Technology Officer
Jason joined Carr Systems shortly after its founding in 2008. With a wide range of technology skills and experience that enable him to work when and where he wants, Jason was quick to join Carr when given the opportunity. "I want to work on technology that matters. I want to take on challenging problems, help customers make significant improvements to their organizations, and stay on the edge of what is coming next. I am probably most proud of our Open Source work, because in this arena we are able to really think outside of the box and deliver technology solutions that will have a lasting impact for our customers."
